Applicants should expect to provide accurate business details and evidence connecting the organisation to the Sender ID.
Registration is designed to make it harder for unauthorised parties to imitate a recognised sender name.
General process
Prepare your details in IntelliSend, then complete the applicable official registration process. Saving a draft does not register or approve your Sender ID.
Choose ACMA’s pathway for your organisation, with or without an ABN, and confirm authority to use the sender name.
Collect the legal business details and supporting evidence requested for the sender name.
Follow the applicable ACMA process and confirm requirements with a participating provider. An IntelliSend draft is not an ACMA submission.
The application is reviewed before the Sender ID is treated as registered. Submission does not mean approval.
Maintain accurate business and Sender ID information if organisational details change.
