A successful credential check proves that IntelliSend can authenticate with a provider at that moment. It does not prove that every sender is approved, every destination is supported, the balance is sufficient, or delivery receipts are configured correctly.
Provider readiness is the combination of connection health, account state, sender configuration, destination support, and observable delivery behavior.
The main application exposes provider-specific information such as balance or credits, billing details, sender IDs, contact capabilities, and recent activity where the upstream API makes those fields available. The exact data differs between TouchSMS, ClickSend, and SMSGlobal.
That difference is important. A generic green badge should not hide the fact that one provider supports automatic webhook registration while another requires status polling or dashboard configuration.
Before an important campaign, test the actual combination that will be used: provider, sender, destination, content type, and routing mode. Then test the backup route too. A failover design is incomplete when only the primary connection has been exercised.
Balances change, credentials rotate, senders expire, and provider behavior evolves. Review connection information as part of campaign preparation and after any unexpected distribution or delivery result.
IntelliSend centralizes those signals so operators can make a better routing decision. It does not remove the need for provider account ownership; it makes that ownership visible and repeatable.
